Beauty Icons: Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Penélope Cruz, Drew Barrymore, Marion Cotillard, Scarlett Johansson.
Drugstore Faves: Coty airspun loose powder, rosebud salve, Queen Helene olive oil hair treatment, Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap (peppermint and almond are the best!), Maybelline colossal volum’ mascara, Goody bobby pins—could not live without ‘em!
Best Beauty Moment of All-Time: Summer “06,” Italy. Best hair day—that lasted for an entire summer—ever! Something about the air in Italy…my hair was always so bouncy and disheveled in the best of ways.
Worst Beauty Moment of All-Time: Senior prom… Me, on my best friend’s bathroom floor crying into the pile of black tulle that was my dress over the disaster that was my hair—chignons set with gallons of hairspray come undone equal crimpy, frizzy kinks.
